Accommodations

We have a few suggestions for hotels for our out-of-town guests. Rates at these hotels are lower than they would normally be because the people at the hotels think we are an attractive couple and want to curry our favor. Remember — when booking a room, tell them the "Melton/Stadler wedding" sent ya.

Hotel Mallory

Only four blocks from the reception site, the Hotel Mallory is a charming old hotel in the old school tradition.

Price: $105/night for king- or queen-sized bed; larger suites are also available at the normal price (rooms are not reserved; available on a first-come, first-served basis)

Location: 729 SW 15th Ave. (on the corner of SW 15th and Yamhill)

Day's Inn City Center

A mere six blocks from the site of the wedding ceremony, the Day's Inn City Center is the option for our more budget-minded friends.

Price: $89/night for king- or queen-sized bed (rooms are not reserved; available on a first-come, first-served basis)

Location: 1414 SW 6th Ave. (on the corner of SW 6th and Columbia)

Inn @ Northrup Station

Not as close to any wedding event as the other two options (but also not terribly far from them), The Inn @ Northrup has nice, large suites better suited for longer stays. Located right on the Streetcar line, it is also close to the NW 23rd shopping and restaurant district.

Price: $109/night for suite with king- or queen-sized bed and fold-out couch, as well as kitchenette; we reserved the maximum of ten suites.

Location: 2025 NW Northrup St. (on NW Northrup between 20th and 21st)
